Benefits of having a holistic health coach!

We all know someone in our family or friends circle who struggles with weight issues, diabetes, high blood pressure, high Cholestrol / triglycerides, arthritis, heart disease, thyroid, digestive / acid reflux, constipation etc. In addition to being financially draining, these health issues can lead to physical pain and emotional stress. I can tell you unequivocally that with proper diet plan and lifestyle habits, one can manage and even reverse these conditions. Unfortunately, most doctors are not trained in nutrition and thus do not understand the power of healing that is inherently present in certain types of foods. This is where a qualified heath coach can make a big difference by preparing a diet plan that is tailored to one's specific health needs.


Almost every week, I hear a great testimonial from a client who has seen considerable improvements in health by following the recommended diet plan. When my clients diligently follow a well structured diet plan that I prepare for them, the inflammation levels comes down, the weight starts to come off, blood sugar numbers begin to stabilize, triglycerides comes down and joint pain recedes.


With so much misinformation surrounding the food choices, it is hard for many well intentioned folks to make the right decision for themselves and their family. As a certified health coach, I sit with my clients (either face to face or via skype) and educate them about the real causes behind their ill health. Once they really understand what is causing their illnesses, it becomes easier for them to follow the recommended healthy eating and lifestyle plan. In fact, once my clients experience the health benefits from eating the right kind of foods, they are willing to adopt the dietary guidelines on the permanent basis.


Most people who have health issues are not given any "Hope" of recovery. It is mostly about managing symptoms with prescription medications. I am here to tell you regardless of what kind of genes you have been blessed with or what you have been told by the doc there is a lot you can do for your health. You doesn't have to live with pain and chronic conditions (which keep getting worse) for the rest of your life. By diligently following the diet plan that I recommend, you can see a clear difference in your health. Different categories of foods have different nutrient profile and some are more beneficial than others. As a certified health coach, I teach people what foods are good for them and which ones they need to avoid.


Most people who suffer from some form of ailments usually have a good idea about what is good and what's not when it comes to choosing foods. But unfortunately, they do not have access to a support system around them which can motivate them to continue taking the actions that are health promoting. As a holistic health coach, I have build a strong support system of like minded people who routinely share healthy foods and recipes thus providing the motivation to continue on the healing journey. My clients automatically gets plugged in the support network and are able to access the positive energy generated by the group.


A number of us spend lot of money on vacations, eating out, electronics, nice car, buying things for home etc., but if we don't have good quality of health, we cannot enjoy any of it. In fact, as the years go by, we become a burden on others because of our ill health. For a lot of sick people, most of their hard earned savings are spent on managing their diseases and going to doctors and hospitals. In my opinion, working closely with a certified health coach is one of the best investments one can do (specially if there are health issues) as it can not only add healthy years to one's life but will also save lots of money in the future health related costs.
