Cleansing and detoxifying green soup

This cleansing green soup (broth) recipe was coined by a functional physicians called Dr. Henry Bieler. He believed that the root cause of most diseases is the toxicity in the body. once the toxicity is removed and the organs of detoxification are healed the body is able to heal itself. He used to put many of his patients on this soup for days or even weeks to detoxify their liver and improve the health of their weak endocrine glands including adrenal, pituitary, and thyroid glands. This soup is rich in many vitamins, potassium and organic sodium.


It's very important to buy organic ingredients present in this soup.


Ingredients:

4 medium zucchini (sliced) rounds

1 pound string beans

2 large stalks celery, chopped

1-2 bunches parsley (flat-leaf or curly)

4 cups water

1 tablespoon sunflower seeds for garnish


Directions:

Cook zucchini, beans and celery in a pot with water at low heat. Once soft, blend it with parsley, sprinkle some sunflower seeds and enjoy.
