Diabetes is one of the fastest growing diseases in the world. Millions of people around the world are diabetic and many more are being diagnosed with pre-diabetes every single day. Diabetes could lead to many chronic conditions (including kidney failure, eye damage, high blood pressure, heart disease, amputation and many other health complications. Diabetes is a very dangerous disease and thus should never be taken lightly. It leads to lots of pain & suffering both physically and financially ( for both diabetics and their loved ones). It is now clearly established that If one of the parents have diabetes, there are high odds that the offspring also one day be diagnosed with it as well - these odds become even higher if both parents are diabetics. Unfortunately, the seeds for diabetes is sown in childhood itself with a diet that is high in animal foods and high fat diet (specifically oils). Once diagnosed, the next step is usually medication which only controls the symptoms and does nothing about the under lying causes which are typically diet and lifestyle related.
In the last few weeks, I had the privilege of working with three diabetic clients. Before they came to me, their numbers were not coming under control, even with daily medicines. One of them over 60, the other over 50 and the last one over 40 years old. I put them on my diabetes reversal diet and lifestyle plan. In less than 6 weeks, they brought their numbers within good range, and also lost some much needed weight as well. In fact, one of the person mentioned he has not seen such good numbers in 12 years and all the while he was on at least two diabetic medications. For all the three, as the numbers started coming down, their need for medications also went down as well. I have no doubt that that as these numbers continue to get better, more than likely there won't be any need for medications in few short months.
Over 95% (maybe even higher) of Type 2 Diabetes cases in the world are diet related and can be reversed or at the very least much improved with correct diet and lifestyle. Even if you don't have diabetes yet but are genetically predisposed because of your parents, you can take action now by switching to a diabetes prevention diet plan to ensure you don't get it in the future.
