Improve your health in just 12 weeks!

Updated: Dec 2, 2021

Your health is your responsibility - period!

In ancient scriptures, it is said that fortunate are those who take the corrective actions at the first sign of discomfort / pain or any other symptoms. Even wiser are those who learn from other people's mistakes and make the right choices thus stop any form of misery entering their lives. Unfortunate are those who think nothing will happen to them even if they continue to flaunt the rules of nature when it comes to diet and lifestyle (mostly young people fall in this category). Most unfortunate are those who though suffer daily do not change their dietary or lifestyle habits. Instead, they are constantly looking for short cuts to get out of their misery. When the situation gets worse they start reaching out to God, praying for a miracle to happen in their lives and complain when their prayers are not answered. If they only knew that there are no short cuts when it comes to physical and mental health and like everything else in life, it needs to be earned. The more they wait, the more harder they have to work for it. The prayers will only get answered if they start taking responsibility for their health and take action.

Many times people who develop chronic illnesses (either physical or mental) become sad, angry and depressed. Unwittingly, they pass their stresses to other people around them as well, making them angry, sad and stressful as well. It doesn't have to be like this. Human body is always striving towards maintaining health and if we eat correctly and live holistically, we can achieve the state of health that we desire. If we observe animals that are living in their natural habitat we can see that they only eat food that is ideal for their kind, eat only when they are hungry, at the right time, and take rest when it's time for rest. They are not known to suffer from diseases like cancer, arthritis, heart disease, digestive issues, colitis, diabetes, blood pressure, chronic back/knee pain, anxiety or depression. They also don't have any deficiency in calcium or protein. But when the same animals are brought to live in captivity and given foods that are not ideal for their kind they start developing diseases similar to humans both physically and mentally.

We do not need to go live in a jungle or a hermitage to gain optimum health, but there is no questioning the fact that we are a product of nature and hence thrive on natural foods that are found in their wholesome state. E.g. in nature, you will find potatoes but not French fries, sweet fruits but not sugar, whole wheat and not white flour. It is true that over thousands of years, the human body has learnt to tolerate foods that are not optimum for our health and wellness. But most of these foods are now either developed in a lab or in case of animal foods- factory farmed on mass scale with little nutritional value. Most of us are way over consuming these foods and that is a major contributor towards various diseases.

Improve your health in just 12 weeks:

Improving our health is not really that hard if you are really committed to it. In fact, it is pretty simple if you break it down and plan for it. Here is a simple plan of action that I believe anyone can easily follow.

For 12 weeks follow this plan:

Out of 21 meals in a week (including breakfast, lunch and dinner), eat at least 16 meals from foods that are grown in nature (Colorful vegetables, colorful fruits, whole grains, lentils, beans and a few pieces of nuts and seeds). In these meals, avoid adding any oils, dairy based products, animal based foods, refined / processed / packaged / fast foods, white flour, white sugar or products that include or are made with these. This way of eating is called " Whole Foods Plant Based" and I have shared the links of recipes in the resources section of this website. You will find so many heathy choices available to you. For the rest of the 5 meals, you can choose to have whatever you would like to eat in moderation, although I would still recommend avoiding them completely for the entire 12 week duration.

By eating this way, your health will become better, you will have more energy, your extra weight will drop, and importantly your chronic health issues will get much better if not completely gone.

Looking for a personalized plan? If you need personal help and support, you can always book a consultation session with me and I will work with you to create a personalized plan for your specific goal / health conditions as well as guide and support you in your journey.

Chronic diseases need not be inevitable:

Most people find chronic diseases to be an inevitable part of life, which is not true. It is true that as we age, the body does go through wear and tear but if we take care of what we eat and make smart life style choices such as doing some form of exercise daily, we can avoid and even reverse many of the modern diseases. The important thing is to take action as early as possible so avoid going through the immense suffering for years before we die.

Tip to be successful: When you make a change, in the beginning, there are always challenges and that is why it's very important to be in the company of those who are happy, peaceful, practice healthy eating habits and live a healthy lifestyle. Thanks to technology, you can now easily look for face book groups or make your own what's app group of like minded family and friends where you share and learn from each other.
