This is my go to cleansing and cold prevention shot come spring, fall and winter time. It is a strong drink and is recommended for no more than a week at a stretch. One can also do it as a prevention when one feels like a cold is coming or as part of a cleansing plan.
Ingredients:
1 Lemon
1 teaspoon Raw Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar
1 inch Ginger root juice
3 oz Clean Warm Water
Pinch of Cayenne Pepper
Pinch of Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Raw Unfiltered Honey
Instructions:
Take 3 oz. warm water and add fresh Juice of lemon and ginger root. Next, add 1 teaspoon of honey and raw apple cider vinegar. Add a pinch of organic cayenne pepper and cinnamon for additional cleansing benefits. Drink the concoction - in few short gulps. BEWARE, it is very strong and that's why it works! Ideally have it first thing in the morning.
This detoxifying and cleansing shot has a number of health benefits. Lemon, ginger and apple cider vinegar are all anti inflammatory and great for common cold as well as for weight loss. They help detoxify the liver and clean the blood. This shot is anti-viral, anti-parasitic and anti-fungal. It also helps in digestion and enhances blood and lymphatic circulation. Drinking this shot in the morning will greatly help breaking up the stagnant mucus that has accumulated in the entire GI tract over the years.
You can drink this shot before meals (on an empty stomach).
Important: Warm the water in the sauce pan (Avoid Microwave for warming water). If the lemon and ginger are not organic peel the skin before juicing.
Note: Drink the shot immediately for maximum benefit. If not drinking right away, store immediately in air-tight glass container and keep in refrigerator.
