My new creation gives a boost of energy and importantly taste divine (as per my wife). This is also a great post workout smoothie as well. Now this is a relatively high calorie smoothie so if you are looking to lose weight than I would have it once a while when you want a boost to start the day or have it as a replacement for lunch in the warm summer afternoon.
Ingredients:
1 large banana, 2 dates, 1/2 teaspoon cacao ( not Cocoa) powder, 1/4 cup good quality black coffee and 1 heaping teaspoon almond butter, 3 -4 cubes of ice and 10 oz water. Blend it all together and enjoy this heavenly drink.
