V-8 Juice is very famous and has been sold in the US for the past 90 years. It contains 8 vegetables but also has additives, preservatives etc. to extend shelf life.
I made this version in the form of a smoothie and tastes great 😊. It can be used as a meal replacement or a snack.
Recipe for 32 oz.
1 very large tomato (or two medium tomatoes)
2 medium carrots ( peeled)
1 small beet root ( peeled)
2 stalks of celery or 1 small cucumber ( chopped)
3-4 leaves of lettuce
1/2 bunch parsley
2 handfuls of spinach
1/2 large Red bell pepper
For added weight loss, add:
1/2 lemon juice (can be substituted with 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar)
1/3 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
2 teaspoon cumin powder
Directions:
Blend with 20 oz. water. If warm add ice cubes.
PS: If you don't have all the ingredients, never mind just use what you have and substitute for others.
